DEVELOPING QUALITY
MUSICAL THEATRE TALENT

The Musical Theatre Training Institute focuses on developing quality musical theatre talent for our stage and beyond. Our training is focused on developing the core skills required to succeed in professional musical theatre. Our faculty is comprised of professionals actively involved in the performing arts who have at least a Bachelor's degree or 4,000+ hours of experience in their specialty.

Spring and Fall semesters we offer studio sessions (certification classes),
workshops, drop-in classes, masterclasses, private training, and more.

During the summer months we offer the Broadway Experience Day Camp,
an exhilarating summer camp for ages 8-13, teaching skills, meeting professionals from around the country, and touring our professional season daily.

Our Summer Artist Series hosts resident professionals including Broadway Directors, Performers, Tech & Creatives, etc, sharing their experiences & stories about life in the world of Professional Musical Theatre.

Breaking down the 3 performing arts skills central to Musical Theatre: Acting, Singing, and Dance. All workshops are 60 minutes, portable, modular, and can be modified for any age group and 5-50 participants, with a 30-minute load-in and load-out. Click here for more details on popup workshops.

Serious performers focus on diving deep into their skill set. That's where private training comes into play. We offer private classes in Acting, Singing, and Dance. Private training is offered on a semester basis, each Spring and Fall, and is available to our students desiring to advance in their skill set.

Available for high school seniors and college students interested in exploring professional theatre as a potential career path. During the school year, we are focused on many off-stage aspects of running a theatre company (marketing, archival work, educational outreach, season planning, fundraising, media, backstage processes) and we assign interns according to their areas of career interest, when possible. Click here for more details on internships.
