In musical theatre, every star begins with their first step into the spotlight, igniting passion and laying the bedrock skills that propel you toward mastery. This 10-week foundational course is your entry point, serving as the essential prerequisite for our Musical Theatre Studio Training. Here, students dive into the process: auditioning, rehearsing, preparing, and performing a vibrant Musical Theatre Revue for an invited audience.

The revue features selected songs and scenes from the timeless works of Rodgers and Hammerstein, cast according to the unique strengths of the students, ensuring every performer shines in tailored roles that spark confidence from day one.

You'll gently explore the building blocks of the craft through guided, supportive practice: introductory audition techniques to ease nerves and highlight your best; basic memorization strategies for owning your material; simple blocking to navigate the stage intuitively; foundational diction and projection for clear, engaging delivery; essential rehearsal and performance etiquette to foster teamwork; early steps in stage presence to connect with audiences; accessible moves to sync movement with story; and an overview of stagecraft fundamentals to demystify the magic behind the scenes.

By the revue's curtain call, you'll not only have performed but discovered your stage spark, equipped with the core tools to transition seamlessly into deeper drills and ensemble challenges. This intro isn't just a starting line; it's the joyful first steps that launch you toward a lifetime of theatrical triumphs.
